| Jason has provided legal services to numerous Fortune 500 companies. In non-litigious matters, he is proficient in banking and insurance. He represented the Bank of Communications in its overseas private placement with HSBC in the amount of US$1.86 billion, which was awarded Annual Banking Deal of 2004 and Annual Deal of Innovation of SOE of 2004. He has participated into many projects that have significant impact in the legal circle, such as the acquisition of Shandong Airlines by Air China Group, establishment of Sino-foreign insurance companies etc. He has provided solutions to the leading foreign banks for the development of financing products, including foreign currency pooling, RMB pooling, daily banking business such as loan facility, acceptance, discount, factoring, forfeiting and derivative products. He has also participated into many deals of international syndicate loans. With respect to IP matters, in addition to participating in numerous IP litigations on behalf of various foreign clients, he also helped the foreign clients to plan, carry out strategies of IP protection in China , to assist the clients to register trademarks and patents in China . He has represented various foreign companies to complete their merge and acquisitions in China . He has amassed diverse practical experience in the areas of education law, foreign direct investment, restructuring of the investments of multinational companies in China , corporate mergers and acquisitions, foreign exchange regulation, tax law and others. In the area of litigation and arbitration, he has built a solid jurisprudence foundation and amassed diverse practical experience. He has participated in more than 50 litigations and arbitrations involving foreign matters, including many significant litigation matters that involve large amounts of monies. |
