BIOGRAPHY
Mr. Yao Rao started practicing in 2002. Before joining HHP, Mr. Rao worked for Haarmann Hemmelrath Partners and Salans.
Mr. Rao has been providing legal services for the M&As by multinational companies in China, especially specialized in providing solutions for the M&As in the highly regulated industries (such as medical device, medical institution, medical packaging, nutrition food and mining). He also represents a great number of multinational companies to set up their foreign-invested companies or other commercial presences in China, and provides legal consultation in the areas of commercial contract, compliance, labor, competition, tax, foreign exchange, customs, environment protection and anti-monopoly.
Mr. Rao provides comprehensive labor law service for many multinational companies including Bekaert, Blum, Delphi, Huntsman, Mary Kay, Ikea, CH2M and SMA. He also has rich experience in providing legal services for industrial construction projects.
Yao is the managing partner
of HHP, and serves as the Board member of Meritas Law Firms Worldwide and
Co-Chair of Meritas Asia-Pacific.
