Yao RAO Elected to the Board of Directors for Meritas

HHP Attorneys-At-Law announced that Yao RAO has been appointed to the Board of Directors for Meritas, a global alliance of independent law firms that serves the legal needs of companies doing business across international markets. RAO was elected to the position from the more than 7,500 attorneys in the Meritas member network and will serve with 20 others from around the world. During his term, RAO will also serve for the Membership Committee.
"Yao has been a strong leader as the Meritas network has grown to serve an increasing number of companies’ cross-border legal needs." said Tanna Moore, president and CEO of Meritas. "It’s a critical time for our leaders, when global business, political, environmental and technical dynamics are constantly changing."
RAO has been involved with Meritas for 7 years, during which time he has served as a main contact between Meritas and HHP. As a board member, he will participate in strategic planning; governance; and policies around membership and implementation of Meritas’ rigorous quality standards, which sets the network apart from other legal organizations.
