BIOGRAPHY

Mr. Shihao Xiao is a highly experienced attorney who joined HHP in 2016. Throughout his career, he has provided a wide range of legal services to both foreign and domestic clients across various sectors. His expertise spans new energy, equipment manufacturing, chemical, food and catering, cosmetics, international trade, medical care and pharmaceuticals, real estate, engineering, banking, privately offered funds, financial lease, football, and sports. Within these sectors, Mr. Xiao has advised clients on M&A and restructuring, foreign-direct investment, data compliance and cybersecurity, labor and employment, and IP related matters.

In M&A and restructuring projects, Mr. Xiao offers comprehensive legal services to clients, including the design, optimization, and compliance analysis of M&A schemes, conducting legal due diligence, drafting and reviewing transactional documents. He also assists in commercial negotiation and addresses matters for closing on behalf of the clients, covering all stages of an M&A project from conception to closing.

Beyond M&A , Mr. Xiao is well-versed in employment matters, including employee termination for both Chinese and foreign citizens, formulation of internal rules, daily compliance, and other labor-related issues. With regard to intellectual property rights, Mr. Xiao has considerable experience in applications, protection, licensing, and disputes related to copyrights, trademarks, and patents.
