HHP Partner Listed in the MOJ Outstanding Foreign-related Lawyers
The PRC Ministry of Justice (“MOJ”) recently announced the List of National 1000 Outstanding Foreign-related Lawyers. Mr. Yao RAO, partner at HHP, is one of the 985 listed lawyers from 30 provinces all over China.
Aiming at helping China’s enterprises and citizens to obtain high quality and efficient legal services for “going global” in response to the Belt-Road Initiative, in April 2018, the MOJ launched the Program for National 1000 Foreign-related Lawyers to enlist outstanding lawyers with international vision who are familiar with international legal practices. Through preliminary selection and review by the provincial judicial departments, MOJ conducted further and stricter selection and went through publication procedures. Now the List of National 1000 Outstanding Foreign-related Lawyers is formally announced. At the same time, the MOJ also establishes a national data base for the Program for National 1000 Foreign-related Lawyers for public research and inquiry.
Mr. Rao, by virtue of his excellent professional skills and extensive experience in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, financing and investment, has successfully been selected by the MOJ as a member of the National 1000 Outstanding Foreign-related Lawyers, with the recognized practice area of Cross-border Investment.
