Meritas Week Held Successfully
October 19-23, the inaugural Meritas Week has been held successfully. As a special event during the global pandemic, this virtual week-long program is designed to celebrate the long-standing relationships developed across the network -- from young lawyers to firm management to law firm staff -- by connecting in meaningful ways to support each other, uncover the emerging needs of clients, and find new solutions for our firms and their clients.
As the first Meritas member firm in China and the only member firm in Shanghai, HHP lawyers took active part in Meritas Week. Yao Rao, HHP partner, spoke at a signature event on Deal-making in a pandemic: An Update from Asia, sharing our insights on the challenges faced in deal-making during the pandemic, as well as our observations of investment opportunities in Asia.
The pandemic has created significant challenges for all of us and has pushed us to develop models that are entirely new.
